Custom headphone calibration

True and accurate monitoring in headphones requires more than just calibrating a headset to a target curve. An often overlooked angle is that each person's individual ear anatomy and hearing health has an effect on their perception of a headphone's response. There are thus two layers of correction recognized by our software. The first layer consists of the headphone hardware calibration itself, tuned to a neutral "house curve" target. The second layer consists of the individual's hearing profile, generated by capturing the results of a series of tests and deriving correction from those results. This correction is then mapped out across the calibrated headphone response to provide a truly accurate and personalized listening experience.

Aperture Audio offers various solutions for headphone calibration. Either send your headphones in for calibration or order a pre-calibrated pair directly. Custom correction profiles can also be generated from existing calibration files provided by third-party companies.
